Traditional Halter Horse

End of the year art project, all made with a 6B pencil and a mechanical pencil ^^ Its a very large piece...not sure of the measurements at the moment...20x20 or taller i think. I'm really proud of this piece, it was my best of the year <3

Other: A well known dressage horse on high levels. He is particularily complex, and can usually sense a rider's experieence, only acting up with the more advanced riders. he has had young children ride him with no problems,

Story:
A woman in her thirties mounted the sleek bay stallion, ready for another session. Legend Lie tossed his head and champed at his bit, eager to go. Energetically, he entered the arena. But it when down hill from there. From his nose stuck in the air, his head parallel to the ground, to the crow hops he threw in that nearly unseated the rider, the session was going anything from planned.

Finally, the brown haired lady pulled him to a side and dismounted. Legend pinned his ears back and tried to back away, half rearing. From under a tree came a soft chuckle and a squeal of delight. A blonde man came out from under, his daughter in hand. Wordlessly, he placed the daughter, perhaps three years old, on the stallion. The transformatoin was immediate. He dropped his head, perked his ears, and walked away quiet as an experienced bomb proof gelding in his senior years.

The woman watched in amazement as the three year old guided the large Thoroughbred around the arena at a patient walk. Whenever she seemed about ready to topple over, he would step under her, or stop and let her get readjusted. Beside her, the man just gave another dry, wordless chuckle.
