I'm a Southerner, born and raised, and have lived in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and attended college at the University of Kentucky. I"ve now moved north (somewhat unwillingly) to slightly upstate New York. I'm a huge sports fan, I love college athletics (Sunbelt and SEC! Woo!). I'm also very into the horse world. I've ridden Western, English (Eventing and Hunter/Jumpers), worked with Gaited horses, and currently own a six-year old OTTB (sired by Curlin!!) I'm retraining. He loves jumping, and is an awesome trail horse on the side. He's now at a dressage barn, but he and the only other OTTB there are best friends, and both of us jump! His friend is on track to do hunters, and even though Curlin is younger, he's the better trained and will probably act like a babysitter at upcoming shows and field trips.

For art, most of the art posted here is for my stable Southern Creek. I'm not HARPG affiliated, but I am ERPG affiliated, and my barn is pretty active showing and training. I'm mostly realistic but I have found a new cell-style I like for training/barn images. I am digital, and I use GIMP and my laptop, which can convert to a tablet. My older work is GIMP with a laptop touch pad.
